Eric Trautmann

Eric Trautmann joined The Wilkinson Group as Vice President, Experiential Marketing and Strategy in 2007. Eric brings over eighteen years of experience creating and producing a wide range of non-profit, commercial, fundraising, public relations, promotional and trade events. He is a veteran in all aspects of producing, funding, marketing and executing major events, promotional programs and marketing initiatives. He has produced large-scale events for NBC, dmg world media, Travel Industry Shows, Old Monterey Business Association, San Jose Downtown Association and ZeroOne:The Art and Technology Network. Eric played key roles in launching new events such as the Bay Area Travel Show, NBC Olympic Opening Ceremonies (San Francisco), Downtown Ice in the Circle of Palms and Harvest Festival Spring Marketplace.

Prior to joining The Wilkinson Group, Eric held the position of Event Sponsorship Director for the San Jose Downtown Association (SJDA). In his four years with SJDA, he created innovative branding, hospitality and group sales programs for Music in the Park and Downtown Ice that yielded record revenues and community participation. Eric acquired and activated sponsorships with numerous key corporate partners including: Knight Ridder, Applied Materials, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Ernst & Young, Centex Homes, Heineken, AT&T, Jet Blue, Cisco Systems, Yahoo, Motorola and Red Bull. In addition, Eric was responsible for developing and executing all media partnerships and worked extensively with NBC, CBS, San Jose Mercury News, Clear Channel Radio and Metro Newspapers to generate record promotional levels.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University where he majored in Creative Writing.
